A20 Lesson 10 Using pass-through authentication on the services site

Having configured the web interface website with minimal configuration; we will now look at configuring the services site. The website is used by the browser plug-in and the services site by the receiver enterprise plug-in. The enterprise client as the name suggests will often be deployed to you corporate desktops and it is reasonable to expect that we could use then pass-through authentication; taking the current user credentials and passing them through the services site. We can enable pass-though as the authentication method of the services site within the web-interface MMC; but we also must enable a policy using the legacy ICACLIENT.ADM. Once this is set we can then add the path to the service site to the Enterprise Receiver and we are authenticated with the current user credentials to our server farm.
