If you would like to run your Raspberry Pi headless, without a monitor, keyboard and mouse then one way is via SSH; secure shell. This though provides only for terminal or text only console. If you would like to connect remotely using RDP from a Microsoft desktop then you will need to install the xrdp package. Using the Remote Desktop Connection Manager from Microsoft is is easy to maintain connections to more then one Raspberry Pi . Once connected you may need to adjust the keyboard mapping. By default xrdp uses a US keyboard mapping 0409. If you need a different keyboard layout then you will need to create one to support your language. The HEX keyboard layout for en_GB is 0809 and you will need to create then the /etc/xrdp/km-0809.ini file.
